Regents hear enrollment update

Preliminary fall enrollment figures at the four CU campuses are slightly lower than those estimated in June, though student credit hours are relatively stable, the Board of Regents heard Friday during the second day of a two-day meeting at the CU Anschutz Medical Campus. A report from Chad Marturano, vice president and chief financial officer for the CU system, showed a preliminary systemwide enrollment total of 66,074, compared with the 66,677 counted at the fall 2021 census.

Regents approve $5.21 systemwide budget

Board of Regents approves $5.52 billion budget

The Board of Regents today approved a $5.52 billion budget for the 2022-23 fiscal year. The systemwide total reflects a 3.2% increase over CU’s budget for the current year. As presented at today’s board meeting, the budget includes a 3% across-the-board compensation increase for classified staff and a 3% merit pool for faculty and non-classified staff, and makes investments in institutional financial aid, deferred maintenance in facilities, campus budget initiatives and advancing the systemwide strategic plan.
