From CU Olympians in Beijing to new leadership for the Board of Regents, these were the topics of interest in the most popular CU Connections feature stories of 2022.
Last fiscal year, 44,489 donors made 69,042 gifts totaling $377.2 million. Through stories and numbers, the report demonstrates how philanthropy drives individuals across CU to ask, “Why not?” and how that question transforms their work, their fields and their personal dreams and goals.
In its short existence, the University of Colorado Colorado Springs bachelor’s and master’s of social work (BSW and MSW) programs are already fulfilling a critical need in El Paso County. Launched in fall 2020, the programs not only give UCCS social work students hands-on learning, but the community tens of thousands of hours of much-needed support through student service learning.

James and Frank McNulty were elected to six-year terms in Districts 1 and 4, respectively, while sitting Regent Ken Montera was the victor in District 5.
