Leinwand rings bell for Nasdaq

Leslie Leinwand, Distinguished Professor and chief scientific officer of the BioFrontiers Institute at CU-Boulder, along with a staff member of her company MyoKardia Inc., rang the opening bell for the Nasdaq MarketSite in times Square on Oct. 29.

The occasion celebrated the company’s initial public offering. MyoKardia Inc. is a clinical stage biopharmaceutical company that is pioneering a precision medicine approach for the treatment of serious and neglected rare cardiovascular diseases.
