You're invited! Join The Lambda Chapter of Sigma Lamba Beta International Fraternity Inc. and UMAS y MEXA in celebrating Día de los Muertos at CU Boulder. Gather with friends to honor those who have died and carry their spirit forward with joy and happiness. The Day of the Dead is a traditional holiday that has been celebrated for thousands of years across the Americas.

FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC

Presentation/ Altar Ceremony
5:30-6:00pm
UMC 235
Come learn about the history of Dia De Los Muertos. Also learn about the significance of altars as we create one through indigenious traditions and honor those we have lost.

Food, Face-painting, Sugar Skulls, Paper tissue flowers and more!
6:00-7:00pm
We will be doing face painting and have opportunities to make paper flowers and decorate sugar skulls!

Procession
7:15-7:45
UMC Fountains
We will meet at the fountains, walk through main campus and end back at UMC 235. Candles will be provided.

Performance
8-8:45

Our guest performer is Grupo Tlaloc, a Mexica/Azteca group, who will demostrate and educate on La Danza and their Aztec culture.
