Cardiology Professor Larry Hergott, M.D., has two writing awards named for him. The Larry Hergott Heart of Medicine Award will be part of CU’s Medical School curriculum that emphasizes narrative writing as a way of coping with stress and clarifying values. Cash awards will be given to the winner and quarterfinalists.
