The Center for Values and Social Policy invites you to a Think! talk by CU Boulder Philosophy Professor Michael Huemer, titled "Why We Are Irrational About Politics."

Event Description: Why doesn't everyone agree with you about politics? The best explanation is that they are being irrational -- and not, for example, that political issues are especially difficult or that we lack sufficient information to resolve them. I discuss why people are especially irrational about this particular subject, and how and why they adopt the beliefs they want to adopt. The bad news: you're probably being irrational too.
