CU’s Excellence in Leadership Program takes an immersive look at state government

The current cohort of the University of Colorado’s Excellence in Leadership Program (ELP) on Feb. 11 visited the Capitol for an immersive look at the state legislative process in action. 

This annual experience, led by CU’s State Government Relations team, provides participants with timely insight into the workings of Colorado’s government and the development of policies affecting higher education. 

Through presentations from CU leaders and partners, about 40 participants gained a deeper understanding of how CU’s Government Relations, legal and budget teams collaborate to advocate for the university.
