CU Anschutz Medical Campus leadership has announced that 76 letters of intent are moving forward in the selection process for awards from the Anschutz Acceleration Initiative.

An Aug. 14 communication from Chancellor Donald M. Elliman and School of Medicine Dean John J. Reilly Jr., M.D., vice chancellor for health affairs, said the initiative received and posted 165 letters of intent from faculty and staff interested in consideration for an award. From those, 76 have been invited to submit full proposals by Oct. 18.

As announced in June, the Anschutz Acceleration Initiative is the result of The Anschutz Foundation’s $50 million gift, which will be awarded to initiatives with advanced medical treatments and transformative solutions with the greatest potential to reach patients within the next few years.
