Inaugural CU Showcase to celebrate innovation, entrepreneurship, impact

The University of Colorado community is invited to be part of the inaugural CU Showcase: Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Impact, an event celebrating the remarkable innovations and entrepreneurial spirit thriving across our four campuses.

Set for 1-6 p.m. Oct. 4 at the CU Anschutz Medical Campus, the CU Showcase is presented by CU’s Innovation & Entrepreneurship Initiative. The event will explore key themes including innovations supporting aging, fostering inclusion and community resilience, incubating and accelerating diverse founders, and breakthroughs in health care, quantum technology, climate resilience and the outdoor industries.

Ranked fifth nationally for startup creation and No. 14 in patent activity, the CU system continues to lead in innovation. By offering over 160 courses in innovation and entrepreneurship, our faculty and staff are driving real-world impact through their research and creative works.

Event highlights include:

  • Keynote speeches from leading innovators, political leaders and ecosystem builders
  • Interactive sessions showcasing groundbreaking research and startups
  • Networking opportunities with entrepreneurs, faculty and alumni
  • A post-event happy hour to continue conversations and collaborations
