Montgomery leads professional development team
Linda Montgomery, associate professor of family medicine, assembled a team from the School of Medicine to participate in a national professional development program called Professionals Accelerating Clinical and Educational Redesign.
The team includes faculty from family medicine, internal medicine, pediatrics, nursing, pharmacy and the physician assistant program.
The program aims to build high-functioning inter-professional faculty teams working to transform clinical practices and educational programs to prepare a better trained primary care workforce. CU is one of only nine institutions chosen to be part of the program, which is funded by the Josiah Macy Jr. Foundation with matching funding from the Boards of Family Medicine, Internal Medicine and Pediatrics, and the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education.
