Gabriel Finkelstein, associate professor of history in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences at CU Denver, had two recent blog posts discussing his book, “Emil du Bois-Reymond: Neuroscience, Self, and Society in Nineteenth-Century Germany.” The first is a Question and Answer article that the MIT Press posted, and the second appears on John Horgan’s Scientific American blog.
