Couch named chief of staff for School of Medicine

Mark Couch

Mark Couch has been named chief of staff for the School of Medicine.

He has served as director of communications for the past three years and will continue in that role.

Couch brings many years of experience in senior administrative leadership and in communications. Before joining the school in 2013, he was the legislative liaison and public information officer for the Colorado Department of Revenue for five years, handling negotiations over legislation with lawmakers and the Governor’s Office, other state agencies and business groups. He also was a newspaper reporter for more than a decade, including six years covering business and politics for The Denver Post.
