CU Scoop is an educational program jointly sponsored by the CU Advocates program out of the president’s office and the CU Forever Buffs Boulder Alumni Chapter. This program will showcase the Fiske Planetarium with its director Doug Duncan, who will provide insight on the planetarium's recent NASA grant and how Fiske is used in teaching and community outreach. We also will have CU-Boulder assistant professor David Brain and an aerospace student talk about CU's MAVEN mission to Mars' atmosphere, recent findings and why NASA is extending their mission. There will be a reception following the program. There is a charge for this event: $10 fee for CU Advocates and CU Alumni; $20 General fee.
