Honoring Native Veterans: "PTSD in American Indian Veterans" with Dr. Spero Manson

American Indians have served in all branches of the military at the highest proportion of US any population. They experience combat trauma at higher rates. Dr. Spero Manson, Director of Centers for American Indian/Alaska Native Health at Anschutz Medical Campus has studied PTSD in Native Veterans for 25 years. He will share his findings and reflect on the experience. There will be a panel of Native student veterans. Traditional drum group & singers, and Native color guard will honor those who served.
