Feature documentary by Taylor, Clark now streaming via PBS
A documentary co-directed by two faculty members of CU Boulder’s College of Communication, Media, Design and Information has made its way to the Public Broadcasting System and is currently streaming.
Ross Taylor, associate professor, and Pat Clark, assistant professor, in 2024 received a President’s Fund for the Humanities grant, which supported the creation of their documentary feature film.
“A Refuge in Scouting” tells the story of an all-refugee scout troop based in Aurora. One of the only troops of its kind in the nation, Troop 1532 serves as a beacon of hope for area refugees. The troop was chartered 10 years ago by P.J. Parmar, who also runs Mango House – the largest shared space for refugees in the region.
