The University of Colorado Staff Council (UCSC) has launched a new series of brief videos highlighting the important work being done by shared governance groups across the CU system.

Staff Councils at CU Boulder, UCCS, CU Denver, CU Anschutz and system administration are composed of elected representatives. Councils work in partnership with university leadership to advocate for staff interests and foster a culture of shared governance.

Beyond advocacy, Staff Councils also lead initiatives that build community: Food drives, blood drives, staff appreciation events, and outreach and volunteer opportunities help connect campuses with the broader Colorado community.

Each of the new videos offers a glimpse into how Staff Councils support and represent University Staff and Classified Staff, championing issues such as pay, benefits, working conditions and professional development.

Along with testimonials from council members and leaders, each video features remarks by President Todd Saliman, who commends the important work of Staff Councils and their role in shared governance across the CU system.
