Unboxing a new year

CU campuses in recent days celebrated the arrival of students as the fall 2025 semester gets underway.
Student move-in days brought surges of energy to CU Denver, UCCS and CU Boulder, where Lynx, Mountain Lions and Buffs were supported by family, friends and members of the CU community.
President Todd Saliman was on hand at each of the three campuses, meeting and greeting new students.
Move-in is only the beginning of fall welcome activities across the three campuses.
At CU Denver, where classes began Monday, the CU Denver Block Party is a free and public annual back-to-school event connecting the campus community with city partners. It’s set for noon-3 p.m. today.
At CU Boulder, where classes begin today, fall welcome events are slated through early September. At UCCS, several activities are scheduled through Saturday as part of Clyde’s Kickoff; classes begin Monday.
