Residence halls across the CU system opened their doors to students over the past several days, signaling the start of the fall 2024 semester.

Student move-in days at CU Denver, UCCS and CU Boulder found Lynx, Mountain Lions and Buffs joined by family, friends and members of the CU community, all lending helping hands.

President Todd Saliman visited each of the three campuses to meet and greet new students. See scenes in the photo gallery above.

Move-in is just the start of fall welcome activities across the three campuses.

At CU Denver, where classes began Monday, the CU Denver Block Party is a free and public annual back-to-school event connecting the campus community with city partners. It’s set for noon-3 p.m. today.

Classes begin next Monday at UCCS and CU Boulder. At UCCS, several activities are scheduled today through Saturday as part of Clyde’s Kickoff. CU Boulder’s Fall Welcome also features a full slate of events this week and next.
