Windows Defender for Endpoint (Log on to VPN on April 14, 2022)
In spring 2022, University Information Services will replace Symantec Endpoint Protection with Microsoft Defender for Endpoint. To make the update successfully, all CU System employees need to be logged in to the CU VPN on April 14 for the entire workday. If you are working in person at 1800 Grant Street and connected to the CU System internet, there is no need to log in to the VPN.
UIS employees will update on March 10, as a pilot group to prepare for the larger update on April 14.
For this update to be a success, we need everyone to be on the VPN on April 14. If you know you will be out of the office that day, be proactive about scheduling an update. Security is the shared responsibility of everyone at the University of Colorado. We thank you in advance for your participation!
