Wilderness Emergency Canine Care

Like to hike, ski, bike, paddle, and/or camp with your dog? Learn how to prevent and to deal with wilderness emergency medical issues that could befall your best outdoor buddy. Taught by richly experienced veterinarians, this course includes lectures, case studies and hands-on skill sessions. Gain the knowledge and skills to be able to respond to common as well as catastrophic backcountry canine injuries and illnesses. Topics covered in the eight-hour course include wounds, orthopedics, heat/cold, GI, first aid kits and much more. No experience needed.
