Jane Goodall to give 50th Gamow lecture at CU-Boulder Oct. 1

The Oct. 1 George Gamow Memorial Lecture featuring Jane Goodall has been moved to the Coors Events Center from Macky Auditorium. In response to high demand for tickets from campus affiliates as well as the public, additional tickets will be released at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 22, through the Coors Events Center ticketing system.

Tickets already issued through Macky Auditorium will be honored. Further details regarding previously issued tickets will be provided closer to the time of the event.

“This will be the largest Gamow lecture in CU-Boulder history,” said Paul Beale, chair of the Physics Department, which sponsors the Gamow lecture. “Our campus and Boulder communities will benefit greatly from the visit of one of the most important scientists of our time.”
