Lane Center for Academic Health Sciences, UCCS

Older adults are living longer and taking more medications, which are essential to prevent illness and improve quality of life. However, side effects and drug interactions can cause physical and mental complications. This interactive presentation is for those interested in learning about the effects of medications on the aging brain and body. Judy Scott, Ph.D., R.N., will discuss medication benefits, metabolism of medications in older versus young bodies, medication interactions, and improved confidence in medication self-management.

Register at https://www.pillarinstitute.org/class-registration. (There is no registration fee for the series, but space is limited.) For more information, call PILLAR at (719) 633-4991.
