FIN Journal Entry Structured Lab

The purpose of this structured lab is to provide participants with a hands-on environment to learn the key skills they need in order to create all types of journal entries, edit and resolve journal entry errors, copy journal entries, post journal entries, utilize journal entry approvals and workflow, workcenters, create a spreadsheet journal entry, and add and view attachments to journal entries.

Here’s how to register:

• Log in to your my.cu.edu portal.
• On the left-hand menu, click Training.
• Click Start SkillSoft and enter your login information if prompted.
• Click Catalog.
• Click CU Instructor-Led Training.
• Click on the folder for the training topic you want to attend.
• This will take you to a course description. Click on the to open a table listing the dates, times, and location of the trainings.
• Once you’ve found a training that works for your schedule, click Enroll on the furthest column to the right. You’ll be emailed an enrollment confirmation, which you can link to your Outlook calendar.
