EduTalks: Litigation: A Long Story Made Short

At our upcoming EduTalks, you’ll learn everything you need to know about litigation with help from your favorite lawyer, Vincent Gambini (Joe Pesci) and his quick-witted fiancé, Mona Lisa Vito (Marissa Tomei). Patrick O’Rourke, University Counsel for CU and an experienced litigator, with the help of the 1992 film ‘My Cousin Vinny’, will bring trial law to life over a chef prepared lunch. Using examples from the film, CU’s University Counsel will illustrate how a trial works and provide guidance on whether or not to pursue or defend a lawsuit.

Registered attorneys who attend can receive one general continuing legal education (CLE) credit. A course number to register credits with the Colorado Bar Association will be available on site.
