Destination Startup® is a collaboration among Colorado's leading research universities and federal laboratories, showcasing the best companies from the region’s innovation ecosystem. At the inaugural event in 2019, hundreds of innovators, investors, and community leaders convened to see the top research-based startups from across Colorado.

Startups present to investors and the business community in a fast-paced, energizing format. Startups must be commercializing an innovation from, or partnering with, one of Colorado's research institutions or federal laboratories.

Startups are chosen via a competitive selection process led by serial entrepreneurs, investors and technology veterans, who hand-picked the best ideas from:
