Astronomy Night: Discover Jupiter
Come and join CU South Denver for an exciting night of Stars, Planets, Solar Systems, and S’mores. We’ll begin the evening with a presentation by our very own, retired astronomy professor, Win Pendleton. Win will spend some time discussing our amazing solar system and the amazing constellations that exist in it. He will be showing images of the stars and planets that make our solar system and universe so unique. Next, we will venture outside for a campfire, s’mores, and a chance to look at the planets and other objects through our telescope.
-Pre-Registration is Strongly Recommended. As these events tend to sell out
-We ask that you arrive a few minutes early to check-in and possibly look at the Sun through the Telescope.
-Please dress appropriately for the weather as a portion of this class will be outside.
-These events include technical information and are geared toward adults and older kids interested in astronomy.
