The CU Board of Regents debated the idea of intellectual diversity among faculty during the board’s Tuesday meeting, with Regent James Geddes, R-Sedalia, calling for university leadership “to take an active approach to diversify our faculty.”

During its Tuesday meeting at 1800 Grant St. in Denver, the CU Board of Regents voted to approve a slate of tuition rates requested by leadership at University of Colorado campuses and system administration.

A vote on a resolution proposed by University of Colorado regents James Geddes and Sue Sharkey opposing ‘gun-free zones’ on University of Colorado campuses was postponed indefinitely by the board in a 6-2 vote, essentially killing the measure.
