Stephen Ludwig, who claimed victory late Nov. 7, received 1,027,027 votes, or 47 percent, against Brian Davidson, M.D., an Arvada Republican, who received 974,546 votes, or 45 percent.

Winners in three of the four CU Board of Regents races were known a day after Tuesday’s election, while the fate of the final spot remained too close to call on Wednesday afternoon.

Four of the nine seats on the Board of Regents will be decided in Tuesday’s general election, with a guarantee of at least one new member joining.

With the general election just over a month away, the University of Colorado reminds employees of guidelines regarding political campaign-related activity and expression.
